Resilient cooling strategies – A critical review and qualitative assessment

چکیده
The global effects of climate change will increase the frequency and intensity extreme events such as heatwaves power outages, which have consequences for buildings their cooling systems. Buildings systems should be designed operated to resilient under protect occupants from potentially dangerous indoor thermal conditions. This study performed a critical review on state-of-the-art strategies, with special attention performance outages. We proposed definition described four criteria resilience—absorptive capacity, adaptive restorative recovery speed —and used them qualitatively evaluate resilience each strategy. literature qualitative analyses show that attain cooling, considered in design phase building or during planning retrofits. relevant system characteristics simultaneously withstand events. A combination strategies different capacities, passive envelope strategy coupled low-energy space-cooling solution, may needed obtain cooling. Finally, further direction quantitative assessment approach has been pointed out.

Applied Linguistic Approach to Language Learning Strategies (A Critical Review)
From applied linguistic point of view, the fundamental question facing the language teachers, methodologists and course designers is which procedure is more effective in FL/SL: learning to use or using to learn? Definitely, in order to be a competent language user, knowledge of language system is necessary, but it is not sufficient to be a successful language user. That is why there was a gradu...

The concept of cognitive insight was introduced in 2004 to describe the capacity of patients with psychosis to distance themselves from their psychotic experiences, reflect on them, and respond to corrective feedback. The Beck Cognitive Insight Scale (BCIS) was developed to evaluate these aspects of cognitive flexibility and to complement scales that describe the lack of awareness of mental ill...
